Lumajang, 23 Oktober 2022 bertempat di Auditorium MI. Miftahul Ulum Banyuputih Kidul mulai pk. 06.00 WIB pagi, nampak begitu ramai lalu lalang kendaraan para orang tua yang mengantarkan putra-putrinya.
Para siswa begitu bahagia, dengan berbusana muslim bebas rapi, mereka berlenggang sambil menyunggingkan senyumannya memasuki halaman madrasah. Rupanya, mereka akan mengikuti pengajian dalam rangka memperingati Maulid Nabi Muhammad, yang digelar di Auditorium Madrasah.
Ust. Imron, SH selaku ketua panitia menuturkan, pengajian dan peringatan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW merupakan kegiatan rutin yang digelar oleh MI. Miftahul Ulum Banyuputih Kidul. “Melalui penyelenggaraan pengajian dan peringatan Maulid Nabi, kami harapkan anak-anak bisa mengambil ibroh dan pelajaran dari hari lahirnya Nabi Muhammad SAW,” terangnya.
Ust. Nurhafi, S.Pd selaku Kepala Madrasah, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan apresiasi kepada tamu undangan yang telah meluangkan waktu untuk bisa hadir dalam Peringatan Maulid Nabi di lingkungan madrasah yang dipimpinnya.
Ia juga bersyukur karena dapat melangsungkan peringatan Maulid Nabi, meskipun dengan cara sederhana. Ia pun berharap, melalui peringatan Maulid Nabi, anak-anak dapat meneladani sifat-sifat Nabi Muhammad SAW. “Semoga kegiatan ini menginspirasi ghirah dan semangat siswa untuk belajar, menuntut ilmu, dengan semangat meneladani Rosulullah SAW,” harapnya
